The people living here is a mixture of fishermen, surfers, musicians, and bohemians. Here is a long 4 Km. sand beach thats great to learn surfing. The Caleta is the small fishermans village wich has apartments. The bungalows are the more expensive houses on the right, in front of the beach. Here the waves break over reefs and rocks making it dangerous and for more experienced surfers only. Here is the famous wave El Quemao - the best tube in the canaries - the canarian pipeline.
