Caleta de Famara is a small fishing village on the north west of the island. The people living here is a mixture of fishermen, surfers, musicians, and bohemians. Here is a long 4 Km. sand beach thats great to learn surfing. The Caleta is the small fishermans village wich has apartments. Where is La Santa?
La Santa is a 10 minute drive west from Famara. Here the waves break over reefs and rocks making it dangerous and for more experienced surfers only.
